How do I assemble my Hypnos divan bed

Your Hypnos divan bed is straightforward to assemble. If you follow these simple instructions, you won’t go wrong when putting together your divan base with drawers or without.

Instructions are for a Hypnos divan base that comes in 2 halves that are split across the width. This is generally double, king size and super king size. Place the bases on their sides.

Start by screwing in the corner castors. Place a metal washer over each castor and screw into the holes in the rounded corners. Tighten with the spanner provided.
Now bring the 2 divan halves together. Thread one castor through the hole in the link bar and loosely screw into one of the central holes.
Now loosely screw a castor into the hole next to it so the link bar can be lowered to fit behind it.
Repeat this for the two remaining castors. Make sure the divan halves are firmly together and tighten all the castors.
Carefully lower to the floor. Now all you have to do is place your Hypnos mattress on top and add your stylish Hypnos headboard.

How do I assemble my Hypnos shallow divan bed on legs?

Your Hypnos bed with legs is straightforward to assemble. If you follow these simple instructions, you won’t go wrong.

Instructions are for a Hypnos shallow divan base on legs that comes in 2 halves that are split across the width. These are generally double, king size and super king size beds.

Place the bases on their sides. Start by screwing in legs. Place a metal washer over each leg and screw into the relevant holes.
Now bring the 2 divan bases on legs together. To join the bases, place a bolt through the hole in the link bar and loosely screw into one of the central holes. Now loosely screw a bolt into the hole next to it so the link bar can be lowered to fit behind it.
Repeat this using the holes on the opposite side. Make sure the divan halves are firmly together and tighten all 4 bolts.
Carefully lower to the floor. Now all you have to do is place your Hypnos mattress on top and add your headboard.

How do I assemble my Hypnos super storage ottoman bed?

Hypnos ottoman beds require a little more thought when assembling. However, if you follow our instructions it should be easy enough. Start by fitting the castors.

Take one washer and place over each castor. Screw in until tight. Turn the ottoman base onto its castors.
If you have a double ottoman bed or bigger you will need to link the 2 halves together.
Align the bases and from the outside, pierce the fabric where the holes are on the side of the base. Tightly fix together using the male and female bolts.
To complete the linking, you need to fit the lid link bar. Thread a bolt through the link bar and loosely screw into underside of the lid. Place a second bolt in the corresponding hole on the other half of the base. Place the hook of the bar under the bolt. Press the ottoman bases together and tighten.
To complete the job, you need to fit the mattress board. Stickers at the head end of the ottoman indicate the position. Pierce the fabric and attach the mattress board(s) in a vertical position.
Carefully place your Hypnos mattress in position and finish with a Hypnos headboard.

How do I fit my Hypnos headboard?

In order to fit your Hypnos headboard correctly, identify which end of the bed it is to be fitted to. Having identified the head end, locate the 4 pre-drilled holes. These are marked by round stickers. We suggest you use your finger to identify the centre of the holes as you will need to pierce the fabric there. Position the headboard and attach with the headboard bolts. Place a washer over each headboard bolt and tighten.

Follow the instructions as above. However, to allow clearance and ease of movement when opening the ottoman, 2 wooden spacer blocks are provided with extra long headboard bolts. These blocks must be fitted between the headboard and the base.
