SleepSoul mattresses will be delivered on a next day basis if ordered before 1.00pm Monday to Thursday. orders place before 1.00pm on a Friday will be delivered on Monday. orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered Tuesday. The service will be carried by Tuffnells.
We do not deliver SleepSoul mattresses offshore and to any of the following post code areas: AB, DD, HS, IV, KW, LL and ZE.
Birlea furniture operates a Direct Home Delivery Service and undertakes to deliver all orders within 7 – 14 working days depending on stock availability at the time of ordering.
All Birlea beds on the direct home delivery service will be booked in directly with the customer by the Birlea home delivery department, and we aim to give as much notice as possible with 3 days being the minimum. The customer will be contacted by phone and will be advised of a delivery date with an all-day slot of 8AM – 4PM. We also offer the facility to call the customer an hour to half an hour before delivery is due if this is required. However, this service must be request by email when placing the order. To protect the safety your customer’s goods, it is compulsory all deliveries are to be signed for. If for any reason the customer is not at the delivery address within the time slot confirmed, our driver may, for your convenience, attempt to leave the parcel with a neighbor to avoid disappointment. However, we cannot leave the item in a safe place e.g. garages, sheds or porches.
As of 22nd February 2021 Birlea Furniture have invested in new, state of the art Transport Tracking and Proof of Delivery software. As well as going paperless, we are also able to offer text messaging and email delivery updates, as well as real-time tracking information. The benefits of our new software include:
Customers are able to see what drop number they are, an estimated delivery time and the exact location of their parcel.
As well as live tracking links, our software will send a text message and an email to the customer when they are the driver's next delivery drop.
Our driver will capture the customer's signature via their handheld device. Better still, if the customer has a smart phone, they can do this contactless by scanning our driver's QR code.
All delivery details, including GPS location, the date and time, and the customer's signature along with a photograph of the goods that were delivered are stored directly on the electronic POD. Home Delivery Service
